This article provides a review of the Toto Drake® II Two-Piece Toilet, 1.28 GPF, Elongated Bowl- SKU# CST454CEFG
Here at Legendary Home Services we have provided plumbing services for over ten years. We have installed hundreds of new toilets in our time as professional plumbers. With our vast insight working with many different brands of toilets, we have compiled our honest review of the Toto Drake toilet to share with you.
Let’s start with a few important facts about new toilets.
Toilets manufactured today use much less water than toilets made before 1994. The Energy Policy Act mandates that toilets may not use more than 1.6 gallons of water per flush. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Energy_Policy_Act_of_1992
Due to this requirement, toilets need a better design to carry away waste efficiently.
When it comes to the Toto Drake toilet- the flushing design has helped it evolve into an increasingly popular toilet amongst consumers and professional plumbing installers.
Some of the features of the Toto Drake toilet include:
- Double Cyclone flushing system
- Fully glazed trap way
- Elongated bowl
- Stylish design and appearance
- 1.28 GPF water saving design with WaterSense approval
This toilet is best known for its patented flushing system dubbed: Double Cyclone. The Double Cyclone flush technology reduces airflow in the trap way, which results in more pulling power to whisk away solids more effectively.
When choosing a new toilet, the most important feature for many is the flushing power. Second, is how often they will need to clean it. Luckily for the Toto Drake, it holds up well in both of these areas.
